Hoarding of site boundary on beach side
Work has started on site for a new build house in Felpham, West Sussex
Planning consent was granted last Summer for this 4,000 square foot replacement dwelling on a prominent sea front location. Set over three floors, this south facing, high end, four bedroom house will enjoy stunning uninterrupted sea views.
The design style is a fusion of the Arts and Crafts forms with Dutch colonial references. Hinting at the original house, the new has a gambrel roof giving the appearance of a large single storey home with bedrooms in the roof. Trevor Pullen, Director in charge of this exciting project comments, “we have created a more appropriate, lighter maritime aesthetic for our clients here in Felpham, we are looking forward to seeing this bespoke house evolve on site and in particular the craftsmanship of the handcrafted joinery details, which are an important feature of this scheme.”
Pullen & Wells Architects are once again working with Nicholls Countryside Construction to build this new home which is expected to be finished Summer 2017.
