This unique family house was originally designed by renowned architect Neil Holland in the late 1990s and subsequently extended over a period of years by Trevor Pullen during his time working with Neil.
Our brief for this latest addition was to sensitively extend the front portion of the property northwards to create a new entrance lobby and ante-room, before proceeding into the hub of the house.
The result is a seamless continued evolution of this special house, while respecting its original form and detailing with local coursed flintwork, decorative brick details, and bespoke painted joinery, all sitting below a pitched clay tiled roof with an expressed low-eaves line that reduces the scale of the building to a friendly human level and welcomes visitors to the shelter of the front door, with its glazed circular window nestling below the projecting canopy, thus continuing the curved theme.
