Padel Tennis Comes to Chichester

Padel Tennis Comes to Chichester

Project Description:

We were excited to be commissioned by Chichester Racquets & Fitness Club to create two new Padel tennis courts at their renowned facility in the heart of Chichester.

Established in 1964, CRAFC is a highly regarded non-profit member’s club promoting racket sports and wellbeing to the local community, including the University of Chichester, and non-member junior clubs.

Padel Tennis, thought to originate from South America, is one of Europe’s fastest growing sports. In the UK, the sport is governed by the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA), with an estimated 68 courts located across the country.

A cross between tennis and squash, Padel tennis is played on a ten-metre by twenty-metre court with a glass and wire mesh enclosure. The game appeals to a wide range of players of varying abilities.
